Throughout the technique of the collage and drypoint etch, her work has evolved to geometric abstraction over the last couple of years. Her recent work consists of reduced, monochrome painted lines and planes. These are applied to the reflective, transparent polyester foil with wide brush strokes in acrylic paint where only the power of the line or the coloured plane prevail. The works are created in series. Each is a journey on thoughts and the same time a process that shapes itself during its realisation. A rejection of realism in favor of the spirit. It is about seeking the essence of things.
